I’ve been stuck on this word for a while now and honestly it was the only thing to keep me going at times. When God put on my heart to go and spread the word, it seemed like a stretch in general to get there. But I had to remind myself that his promises are true and will come to pass.
Caleb comes to mind when I think about promises. Caleb stayed true to his faith and it allowed him to receive entering the promise land, he was able to acquire even more land for himself and his people. Caleb looked beyond serious obstacles to God’s unbreakable promise that Israel would occupy Canaan. Even when outnumbered by enemies, Caleb trusted God, and God richly rewarded him.
“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingness will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.” Isiah 54:10
This is a promise that God will never leave us even when we stray away. I want to grow into a Caleb with my faith being so firm on Gods foundation that even in the biggest storm in my life, I can’t be moved. I’m going to stand firm on being a Godly man even when it all seems to be falling apart. But I know Gods promises to me and the work I’m doing for him, will bless his kingdom forever.
I will do what God has called me to do. I don’t need a lot to do a lot. I will stand up for his people. I will spread the word of God. I will live a life in faith. That life style isn’t going to be easy, but it will be biblical. I’m letting God write my story from here on out. I’m taking every selfish want, ambition, status, etc..and I’m leaving it all behind to allow God to move how he wants to. Come in like a fire, come in like a flood. I don’t care what it looks like. I’m so in love with you God. Walking out MY life with a different spirit, with whole hearted obedience and allowing God to move.
As I’m getting ready for launch for an 11 month mission trip, in just a few days, God has me in a place of complete peace. I know this is where I’m suppose to be.
PS:3700 from being fully funded. Still need your help getting there! And thank you to everyone who has helped me get to where I’m currently at! Next blog will hopefully be from Romania! Love you all!
